A Personal History In Pieces of Cloth

This wonderful event was created
by the incredible staff of TEMARI,
Center for Asian and Pacific Arts
|
I’ve collaborated with Temari to create a special
collection of hands on classes to celebrate our personal
history. Surface design techniques will be the vehicle
to pay homage to our honored past and the
precious present on cloth.
A series of exciting events will lead up to the
finale with my classes. Please be sure to attend the
Open House on September 13th (with free indigo
dyeing for members), Fabric Surface Design
Blitz on November 7 & 9 (led by artist Chicky Yuen)
and A Piece Of Cloth (Free Family Festival)
on November 16th @ Ward Warehouse
(I will be signing books and hope to see you there!)
