| This is Linda G’s Blog for www.sewing.org. This entry is about
her trip to Spring Quilt Market in Pittsburgh. This is the wholesale
show where all the new products debut. Linda G is a travling
journalist revealing exciting new products. I was lucky enough to
have her photograph a jacket I made for Expo International and
HERE is the link to it. It is a denim jacket and of course it is
embellished with feathers from Expo International.
Most of you know Linda G from her previous life as Editor for Sew News.
She is also an author with Krause/F&W Media and leads tours for
the American Sewing Guild.

| Joyce Drexler and Sue Hausmann on America Quilts Creatively
This is the vest that Joyce Drexler used on America Quilts Creatively on July 26, 2008. I had a booth next to the SULKY thread company at the ASG National in Sacramento last year and gave Joyce a pattern. She is always gracious and I love what she made with it. They used Sulky thread and water soluble stabilizer to create rayon fabric and then dyed it! Just when you think you’ve seen everything…SULKY always comes up with ground breaking ART! I am going to try it right now. Hey, I already have the pattern!
